Sathischandra Edirisinghe

Sathischandra Edirisinghe’s drama career runs far back to 1961. The firs drama scripted by veteran artist John De Silva was staged at the John De Silva theater . He also acted in the “Cherry Orchard” of Anton Chekoff written by Ranjith Dharmakeerthi in Sri Lanka.

His first soul production was “Baka Thapas” which was taken from a French novel. Another “Atthikka Mal Pipila” and “Anangarala”. Sokkano Rajano and Ahase Aurududa can also be enlisted as his unique productions.
